Hormone therapy may be used to help manage symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause, including hot flashes and other symptoms related to hormonal changes. Your Ivím provider will consider your symptoms, health history, and treatment goals when determining whether estradiol and progesterone are appropriate for you.
This treatment is taken orally in capsule form. Use your medication exactly as prescribed by your Ivím provider and follow the instructions provided with your individualized treatment plan.
Ivím’s Women’s Hormone Health treatment program provides individualized care for women navigating hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause. Depending on your symptoms and health history, your provider may prescribe estradiol, progesterone, DHEA, or other therapies as part of a coordinated care plan that can be adjusted over time.
Estradiol and progesterone may not be appropriate for everyone, including some people with a history of certain hormone-sensitive cancers, blood clots, cardiovascular disease, liver disease, unexplained vaginal bleeding, pregnancy, or known allergies to these medications.
