PT-141 may be considered for appropriate patients experiencing concerns related to sexual desire. Your Ivím provider will consider your symptoms, health history, medications, and treatment goals when determining whether PT-141 is appropriate for you.
The PT-141 troche is placed under the tongue and allowed to dissolve completely. Do not chew or swallow it whole. Use it exactly as prescribed by your Ivím provider and follow the instructions provided with your individualized treatment plan.
PT-141 may be available as an add-on treatment within Ivím Women’s Hormone Health for patients experiencing concerns related to sexual desire. Your provider will determine whether it is appropriate based on your individual symptoms, health history, medications, and treatment goals.
PT-141 may not be appropriate if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure, certain cardiovascular conditions, severe liver or kidney disease, are pregnant, or have a known allergy to bremelanotide or an ingredient in the formulation. Your provider will review your medical history, medications, and individual risk factors before prescribing treatment.
